TYLER TURNS ONE ... Let him eat cake!

What an absolutely PERFECT day! We could not have asked for anything more for Tyler as we celebrated his first birthday!

I expected trouble when the excitement of the day spilled over into nap time, and Tyler refused to settle down for a nap. OBVIOUSLY he KNEW it was his big party day! (Anyone that says a Birthday party for a 1 year old is pointless, certainly does not have a one year old). The lack of his nap hardly even affected him

After seeing the "Beach" we had created outside , Tyler was beside himself! He spent just about the entire party outside, jumping from swimming pool to swimming pool (we had 4), and chasing (and being chased by) all the kids. He laughed, and screamed, and just had a blast!

Presents were a hit! CAKE (well the picture should say enough) was DEVOURED! And the food was delicious ... Thanks to Jason who supplied us with Crabcakes, Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, and Seafood Fondue for the adults and Chicken Nuggets and Tator Tots for the kiddos (although Tyler just could not be bothered by Chicken Nuggets and Tator Tots ... NOT while there was an Alligator slide waiting for him outside).

Thank you to EVERYONE who made this day so much fun for Tyler. To all the "big kids" (Hunter and Lydia especially) ... Thank you for "jumping" in those 2 foot swimming pools and making such an effort to ensure Ty had the Time of his Life (he certainly did!)

By the way ... Tyler's Play Room is absolutely unbelieveable. I cannot EVEN impress upon you how many toys this kid has now. YOU GUYS ROCK for spoiling him SO completely! He is so incredibly Blessed to have family and friends who love and adore him!
