Christmas Morning WHEELS

Ty's Christmas morning was full of wheels of ALL kind! He got a Wagon from Santa and a new tricycle from Mom and Dad. He got a motorcycle center from Pop-Pop and Aunt Rayanne, A Recycling Truck from his cousins Blake and Lauren, an ape car from Cousins Lydia and Hunter, and a new Elmo Steering Wheel center from Grammie Sheeran. WHAT A LUKY kiddo. What fun we had opening all the presents. Definitely a little overstimulated as Ty crashed hard for both naptime and bedtime! Poor kid ... He could't open anymore ... we still have about three or four left for him to open later this week! What a hard life!

Christmas with Ty Cobb!

We'll I don't think we could have added a single additional activity at the Cobb house this year. We hosted two dinner parties and two champagne brunches! We were busy busy! We also managed to do a little christmas shopping and enjoy lots of fun distractions that come with a audacious 16 month old. What a fun month! Ty watching Scrooges' puppet show! I think he had more fun running in between the kids showing off his belly! Christmas Shopping at Target with Aunt Rayanne! Ty just loves this view!! And if you can survive the drooling (molars are rearing their ugly heads!), and a little hair pulling, Ty will be your bestfriend for a little shoulder ride! And a little IPOD jam session with cousins Lydia and Hunter! Tyler just can't get enough time with his big cousins ... their just too much fun!

IT'S PUMPKIN TIME!!

(What a ham for the camera!)

Pictures of our trip to the Big Orange Pumpkin Patch in November! What a fabulous Pumpkin Patch. This is sure to be another annual event. Complete with hay ride and petting zoo.

Jason gave Tyler a lesson on ropping and riding a cow

(I'm sure our cousins up North are giggling at that picture!)

Feeding the Goats ... Tyler got a big kick out of the goat licking the food

RIGHT OUT OF HIS HAND!!

HALLOWEEN

You can't believe how much fun it was taking Tyler to the Halloween Fair at Prestonwood Baptist. After a little encouragment from Shelly we made a trip to check out what the fuss was about. WHAT A SHOW! She was so spot on ... who needs trick or treating!!! I know there were at least 100 booths of clothes pin drops, bean bag tosses, bowling, scooter raises, and more. Activities also included a full gym of every kind of bounce house/activity you can think of, face painting, a pettying zoo, two trains, a pony ride, funnel cake, frozen lemonade, and all the great fair food we love. We plan on making this an annual trip ... We also visited the neighborhood fair at Rayanne and John's park. Tyler snagged the 2nd place Costume award (Gotta love the $14.95 Targe Tigger costume)... and only lost to "Jack the Pirate" who was head to toe custom sewn Pirate gear!! I was quite impressed with Tyler and found myself eggging him on "Stage mom" style! He won those judge over!! GO TY! What a fun Hallooween week!

THE STATE FAIR

For those of you who have never been to the Texas State Fair in Dallas you are missing it! Ya'll need to COME TO DALLAS!! Tyler and Jason and I all had such a great time. We ate our way through those fair grounds eatting cotton candy, corn dogs, boudin balls, frito pie, deep fried bananas' foster, ice cream cones, candy, dibs, and that was just the first trip!! We left happy as larks with a little more cellulite (well Tyler and I did ... Jason will forever be our bean poll !). The best thing about the Fair this year was the childs area ... Tyler had a blast on several trains. We did have a little run in with a glass wall in one of the Fun Houses. The horrible mom I am ... I had to hold back the laughter after Tyler ran full force into one of the glass walls after seeing Jason and his Aunt Shelly outside looking in. He looked up at me with a HUGE red forehead and after a 5 second delay burst into tears. It was completely, adorably heartbreaking! But he stuck it out and tried another Fun House on the next trip, using a little more caution! SUCH A SMART BOY. It's amazing how great his memory is. Don't you love the picture of Tyler with his trusty toothbrush posing with his cousins Lydia and Hunter. I especially love the fact that his head is BIGGER than Lydia's his 11 year old cousin. What a BIG BOY!

WHERE THE HECK HAVE YOU BEEN?

So I know you have all been asking yourselves ... "Why don't she write?". For those of you who don't know the business I am absolutely insane from mid October until about (well today!!) ... I do the work of about three people. It's nuts!! For the month of December alone I did 89 parties ... most of them more than 50 guests each. This doesn't leave much time for sleeping or eatting ... let alone phone calls and blogging.

My sincerest apologies to those of you who I neglected. I am happy to say I am BACK in the flesh (with loose fitting jeans to account for the missed meals! Sorry mom!! Jason and I tried those Ensure shakes, Yuck!... I just COULD'T DO IT!) But I'm back and ready to blog away! The next few blogs are updates for FALL. We had the best time ... and even though the last three or four weeks have been especially hard ... we've managed to fit in some really great adventures.
